Don't stop your Social Media during Coronavirus.

🌟 Day 2 of 21🌟 Today's tip is simple... Despite what's happening around the world marketing your business during these challenging times is more important NOW than ever!

We realise that your small business might be suffering. You are not only concerned about yourself but about your family, your team and trying to do everything to minimise the financial impact on your business during this time. We know this too well. We in this together... Marketing opportunities and social media management fall away as a last of important things on 'your list' to focus on during these times. Believe us you CANNOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE. SHOULD you even market your business during this time? THE ANSWER US YES AND ONE MORE TIME YES! Don't pull back or stop your marketing all together (like some of your competitors!) join the club of smartest marketers that take the opportunity to get ahead. It seems crazy (yes we know!) but these days people are spending even more time online than before. With implemented lockdown so many adults are working from home, kids around the world doing online schooling and in general, people are trying to stay informed as much as possible during the Coronavirus so they are glued to social media. So here is our advice: 1) Stopping your marketing activities and social media will result in your brand disappearing. FACT! Make sure you keep the momentum you have built over the years going. • NOTE: - Reducing your posts might be a good idea too. - If you/your business never been active on Social Media start showing up online. You will have enough time to learn and understand how each platform works. Take that opportunity. 2) Don't focus on advertising and don't do sales. Keep your brand's posts informative, share tips and keep it fun and entertaining. People will have enough serious info about the virus from other sources, show your brand being sensitive to what's happening. It is a great opportunity for your brand to stand out during a difficult time. 3) Use this time to get connected with potential travelers/customers for the 'after lockdown time'. People are fed up with sitting at home and planning their travels. Join the communities and share your posts under #VirtualTravelSA, #WeWillTravelAgain hashtags to connect with them. 4) Use this time to improve your social media: update, customize, implement a new approach. Play with posts to see what works what is not. • NOTE: Update your website, starts with SEO. These are just a few ideas of what you can do... The main message is DON'T DISAPPEAR ONLINE.
